Mineral Notes: Epidote is a species very often found in association with metamorphic areas. It is an important rock-forming mineral and often forms inclusions in granite.
Description: Unusually large, columnar crystals of Epidote in matrix. Most have good terminations. The largest crystal shows some interior transparency. The strong glassy luster and bottle-green colour make this a very attractive display specimen.
