Brochantite



Brochantite,  CuSO4(OH)6 (Copper Sulfate Hydroxide) is usully found in the upper zones of Copper ore deposits, where anhydrous conditions prevail.

Description: A black matrix covered on all sides by a thin deposit of light green Brochantite. The top surface shows several highly crystalline zones, magnification revealing hundreds of dark green, lustrous, well terminated Brochantite crystals.

Location: Frisco, Utah, USA.
