Quartz, SiO2 (Silicon Dioxide), is a widely found rock-building material found in many shapes and forms. It is one of the most commonly used materials by people, having uses in glass manufacture, electronic equipment, jewelry, decoration and in ancient days, for producing sparks to start fires.
Description: A very beautiful cluster of smoky Quartz with red and black inclusions and phantoms. There are numerous large crystals terminating in six-sided pyramidal points, some surrounded by smaller twinned terminated crystals. Masses of other small crystals, most of which have good termiantions. The colour is a distinct yellow-brown with some purple undertones.
