Mineral Notes: Stilbite is a common zeolite mineral whose crystals tend to clump together into wheat sheafs. Whether in this form or not, Stilbite is a aesthetic specimen with its clean pearly luster and often colourful pink and rosy tints.
Description: This specimen consists of a large number of clusters of classic Stilbite "sheaves". Each sheaf is made up of many aggregated, platy crystals that have very good monoclinic form. The two largest aggregates point away from each other, with a number of smaller sheaves lying perpendicular at the center of the specimen. Very lustrous in good light.
