Mineral Notes: Fluorite is found in a wide range of geologic environments, ranging from inclusions in granite to replacement deposits in limestones. It is one of the most commonly collected minerals because of the beauty of its specimens. 

Description: A specimen characterised by a very unusual and rare pale-green colour. The majority of the crystals are octahedral, rather than the more commonly observed cubes. On the reverse are a number of small gemmy octahedra that show a marked degree of transparency and bright glassy luster.

Location: Will Wise Mine, Westmoreland, New Hampshire, USA.
