Mineral Notes: Fluorite is found in a wide range of geologic environments, ranging from inclusions in granite to replacement deposits in limestones. It is one of the most commonly collected minerals because of the beauty of its specimens.
Description: A white, highly crystalline Quartz matrix upon which sit two Fluorite crystals. The one in the middle forms a good cube, wheres the one at the rear has integrown with the Quartz. Both are a very unusual yellow colour, with a strong green undertone. A good display specimen from a classic African fluorite source.
