Mineral Notes: Quartz is one of the most commonly used materials by people, having uses in glass manufacture, electronic equipment, jewelry, decoration and in ancient days for producing sparks to start fires.
Description: A very pretty cluster of fused rose Quartz crystals. The surface shows a particularly interesting pattern of contoured growth zones and secondary crystals resembling sand ripples. The deepest colour is in the surface of the layers of the specimen whilst the interior merges into milky Quartz. This makes an attractive graded effect, of pink against a white background.
