Mineral Notes: Fluorite is found in a wide range of geologic environments, ranging from inclusions in granite to replacement deposits in limestones. It is one of the most commonly collected minerals because of the beauty of its specimens.
Description: A cluster of multiple twinned crystals. The largest is 2cm across and is in pristine condition. Others are similarly undamaged. Most show a high degree of transparency giving the specimen a very gemmy appearance. The dark purple colour makes this a very attractive display specimen.
