Mineral Notes: Fluorite is found in a wide range of geologic environments, ranging from inclusions in granite to replacement deposits in limestones. It is one of the most commonly collected minerals because of the beauty of its specimens.
Description: A very beautiful specimen of lavender Fluorite covered by a lustrous sprinkling of white Quartz. Under illumination the whole specimen glows like few others, espcially the Quartz, producing thousands of bright reflections. The Fluorite is cubic and there is consderable twinning and clarity, which adds to the gemmyness.
