Mineral Notes: Fluorite is found in a wide range of geologic environments, ranging from inclusions in granite to replacement deposits in limestones. It is one of the most commonly collected minerals because of the beauty of its specimens. 

Description: Cubic crystals of pale blue Fluorite on matrix. Some are twinned and many show a blue colour band along the crystal edges. The centers are transparent making the Fluorite gemmy. The matrix is formed form alternating bands of massive blue Fluorite and white Calcite. A very attractive specimen from a classic location.
