Mineral Notes: Variscite most often forms as a precipitate from circulating phosphate-rich water. It is associated with many other phosphate minerals including Mimetite and Strengite. Some forms are massive and produce a rather attractive ornamental stone.
Description: A gray matrix on which sits a perfect rosette of Variscite. The mineral is highly lustrous and all the individual crystals of the formation can be seen. A highly attractive specimen.
