Mineral Notes: Fluorite is found in a wide range of geologic environments, ranging from inclusions in granite to replacement deposits in limestones. It is one of the most commonly collected minerals because of the beauty of its specimens.
Description: A matrix of lavender-blue Fluorite crystals covered by a rich blanket of white, highly crystalline Calcite. Both minerals are transprent and therefore very gemmy. The Fluorite is uncovered by Calcite in a coupel of places and here its shows very btight faces and excellent cubic form. A very aesthetic specimen.
