Mineral Notes: Fluorite is found in a wide range of geologic environments, ranging from inclusions in granite to replacement deposits in limestones. It is one of the most commonly collected minerals because of the beauty of its specimens.

Description: Extremely lustrous and transparent crystals of lavender-coloured Fluorite on a matrix of black Shale and white Quartz. The Fluorite crystals are astonishingly gemmy. Many are twinned. The Fluorite is extremely fluorescent under LW UV light.
