Mineral Notes: Fuchsite is a Chromium rich variety of Muscovite. It belongs to the Mica familiy of Sheet Silicates, noted for their cleavage into thin flexible plates.

Description: Very striking, overlapping, leaf-like crystals of intenesly green Fuchsite.  Extremely strong luster and excellent crystal form. A very good display specimen from a rare location.
